Books[book] A written or printed work consisting of pages glued or sewn together along one side and bound in covers.

☨ I don't read as much as I want to but I love books. My entire headboard is filled floor to ceiling with books that I have read already or am going to read. Most of them are theological, business and health related. I will write up my reviews here. If time permits, I will do at least one a month.

Bram Stoker's | Death Ship

Bram Stoker’s Dracula is easily my favorite movie so when I saw this graphic novel in the thrift store for ¼ what it would normally cost I considered it a sign. I read the whole book while waiting in the car for my daughter a little while after purchasing it. A sex scene on the first page [sex sells] and the effortlessly flow of the story both as a spin off from Bram’s Dracula and as a standalone story is most likely the reason. Read more

Reason and Religious Belief: Omnipotence

s God really all they say he is? That is the point of chapter four. Our reading assignment included but was not limited to All-powerful, All-knowing, and Perfectly Good and God Eternal-Timeless of Everlasting? The writers spent their time disproving the well known attributes of God and replacing them with revamped statements is an attempt to make their descriptions accurate better than those of the old school theologians. Reason and Religious Belief: An Introduction to the Philosophy of Religion : Order in The Court

This section of chapter five is about Cumulative Case Arguments. Cumulative Case Arguments is explained by Micheal Martin, an atheist. He contends that no theological case that argues there is a God [or theism] should be considered valid while resting its case on only one piece of evidence. Read more

Reason and Religious Belief: An Introduction to the Philosophy of Religion : Knowing God Without Arguments

I am beginning to think that the writer of this book is trying to see if we as readers are really paying attention to the chapter headings. Chapter 6 was supposed to be about "Knowing God Without Arguments: Does Theism Need A Basis?" Instead they argued over if theism and atheism like they have been doing for the entire book almost. All be it, the book is an interesting read, no matter how inconsistently its content is formatted. Read more
