My Virtue[vur-choo] conformity of one's life and conduct to moral and ethical principles; uprightness; rectitude.
I have divided my vices into four categories...
Consanguinity:
My mother has this saying "Your friends will take you places but they will NEVER bring you back!" In the beginning and in the end family paramount. Who is always showing up to congratulate you when you conquer? Who collects the body when you are conquered? I have cheated death many times, for this grace I thank G_d but it is my family that cleans me up and gives me the ammo I need to fight the good fight, again... and run the race until G_d says "Amen." I'll let you read why.
Christendom:
My life belongs to Christ. There is really no way to make it any simpler. I live so that He will be worshiped and all that I have done is only a manifestation of my faith in G_d. My art, writings and mundane daily activities though it my appear dark and dismal is true and the truth of who I am inside and an illustration of what I enjoy when I am conversing with G_d about the world. I have an abundance of interactions with G_d, some visible others you would never believe. I can speak on these things for a long time to come. I delight in Him.
Cross Fit:
About 10 years ago I fell into a deep depression. I lost a child and my material life vanished into drug abuse and promiscuity. A couple of failed suicide attempts lead me to professional counseling and with the help of local social services I was able to clean up my life. I just recently started to look in the mirror again and though it is a vain ambition, I have grown interested in the Cross Fit culture. I keep you up to date about that stuff here.
Urbanite Life:
Living in the inner city is not for everyone. I have learned to love living in close quarters, traffic and the scream of police sirens. Washington, DC is where I grew up. It is the seat of power for this country, if you are in to politics. As an artist DC is a great resource center. There are countless opportunities for me to request funding and the community here, surprisingly enough has a great love for art in all forms. I assume to balance the daily stresses that come with being the capital of a young country. I will use this section of my blog to share the things that I find enjoyable about my life in DC.
